With my past experiences, when it came time to upgrade my machine (Windows-10 Pro 64-bit) from Office-2007 to Office-2016, I again went with the 32-bit version. This machine was running Windows-10 Pro (64 bit). It worked fine (in general) and also worked with iCloud for Windows for her. When I installed it on my wife's computer, I again went with the 32-bit version. When Microsoft Office 2010 was released, it was suggested to install the 32-bit version, to retain compatibility with Addins/Plugins like iCloud for Windows. Back when I installed my Microsoft Office 2007, it was 32-bit and worked with the current release of iCloud for Windows of that time.
